� RESOLUTION OVERRIILING PROTE3T5 IN CONNEGTION

� BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lyi?wood,
California, as follows:
WHEREA3, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did, on
the 16th dag of March, 1948, approve an Inveatigation Report under
, the provislons of the Streets �nd Highways Code Division 4, cited,
as "Special Aasessment Investigation, Limitation and PdaJority Protest
Act of 1931" upon the proposed improvement of Fernwood Avenue in the
City�of Lynwood by the construction of cement�concrete curbs, gutters�
, aidev�alka and drivevray appraches, and
WHEREAS, said Report having been duly prepared and Pfled,
` a hearing was held thereon by said City Council on.the 4th day of
,' May, 1948 in the manner prov3ded in said Act above referred to, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood haa here-
`' tofore, and on the 4th da,p of May, 1948, adopted its Resolution oP
,, Report.of said hearing, whieh said resolution of report was, on the
` 4th day oP May, 1948, filed with the Clerk of sa3d City Covncil, all
in the time, form and manner required under the proviaions of said
Act above referred to; and

NO`�N, THL',REF'ORE, tha City Council of the Gity of Lynwood
; doea hereby resolve a� follows:
•(1) That the proteats made at said hearing on s sid
Investigation Report be, and the same sre hereby overruled;
`� (2) Thnt the public interest, convenience snd neceasitg
require the doing and making of the public improvement set forth

and described in said Report above referred to and substantially
in the manner therein set forth;
(3) That the pro�ect, consisting of the proposed
improvement above referred to; ia feasibls; ' �
(4) That the estimated total amount proposed to be
asaessed upon any or all lota or parcels of land for the coats and
' espensea oP said propoaed improvement doea not exceed the limitation
, of indebtedness established and aet forth in said Act above referred
to and will not, by the levy thereof, cause said limitation to be
exceeded in any instance; �
(5) That no majority protest in mriting has been filed
b� the owners of .property proposed to be assessed to pa� the costs
and expenaes of said proposed improvement or any psrt thereof, in
the manner provided in said Act above referred to; '
� (6) That it is hereby ordered that the proceedir�ga for
the making of said proposed improvement be undertaken pursuant to
the pr,ovisions'of sn Act of the Legislature of the State of California
designated as.the Streets and Highways Code Division 7 cited as
"Improvement Act of 1911", and amendmenta thereto,
APPROVED arid ADOPTED this 4thd ay of May, 1948
