ANNEXATION OF THAT CSRTAIN PROPBRTY IN THE COUNTY
OF IA;S ANGEL$5 LYING SOUTHERLY OF CARISN AVENUfi
AND �A'ST�RLY QF BULIS� ROAD.
V9HffitF.AS, pursuant in the annaxation of "Uninha.bited Terrltorp Act I
of 1939," there has been presented to the Citp Council of the City of .kynwood,
California� petition dated F�ay !t, 191�8, axecuted by '.Oze11.,YaE€e; and
Heiman YaPte�, requesting the anneaation oP certain property lying southerly
of Carlin Avenue and easterly of Bullis Road in the Caunty of Los Angelea, State
of Ca1i£ornia, and lying xithin the following described liness
Be ni ng at the intersection of the westerlp line
of Bullis Road with the westerly prolongation oY
the northerly line of Carlin Avenue (33 ft. wi.de)
as said Carlin Avenue e�d.sts easter�y of Hullia
Road, said point baing on the boundary liae of the
G`ity of Lymvood as said boundarg line existed �
April 6, 19lt8; thence easterly along said prolonged
northerly line and the northerly line oY Carlin
Aveirue, a distance of 1196.60 feet; thence South
- 18 degrees, !�5 minutes, 4$ seconds West parallel
with the westerly line of said Bullis Road to the
northerly line of Tract No. 11991, as shown on
map recorded in Book 283, Pages 26 to 33 inclusive
o£ Maps, records of Los Angeles County� California;
thence westerly along the northerly line oP said
last mentioned tract and its westerly prolongation
to a point on the wes,�erly line of Bullis Road,
sat.d point being on the easterly boundary line o£ the
(.S.ty of Ivnwood as said boundary line e�ri.sted
April 6� 1948; thence northerly along said easterly
boundary line of the LYty of Lysiwood to the point
of beginning.
UYHBRI�AS, said territory is uninhabited, unincorporated territorg
contiguous to the City of Lynwood; and
WH�Cf.�� sai.d petition is signed by the owners of not less than
one-fourth o£ the area o£ land in snch territory and representing not less
than one-Yourth of the assessed valne of such territory according to the last
pseceding equalized asses�ent roll of the County.of Los Angeles, State of Calif-
ornta, in which such territorg is situated;
NOW THEHEFORE BS IT RI�OLV�s
Section 1: That pursuant to the annexation of the "iTni.nhabited
Territory�Act of 1939 the City Council of the City of Lynxood hereby gives -'
notice of said proposad annaxation.

- Section 3 : Said City Cauncil hereby gives notice of and fixes
the lsthday of June � 19Lt8, at the hour oP 8 o�clock p.m, in the Council Chembers
in'.the City Hall, 11331 Plaza �treet� Lynwood�,California, as the day, hour, and
. place when and where any person owning real proporty withi.n such territory so
proposed to be annexed and having azq* ob�ections to the proposed annexation may
appear before the City Council of said City of Lynwood and show cause why sucn
territa� should not be so aru►exed. .
Section 1�: The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a copp o£
this resolution to be published once a week for two successive weeks prior to
` said hearing� in the Lyuwood Press� a newspaper of general circulation� pub-
.lished in said City of Lynwood. '
