held at the Town Hall on Monday, January 3,1955 at 10 a.m.

Mayor L. Seton Lindsay presiding; Town Clerk Bauer acting as
Secretary.
This meeting wqs called for the purpose of interviewing "Roy
Cowart" an applicant for the position of year round policeman.
After said interview the Commissioners unanimously approved
engaging "Roy Cowart" year round with one day off each week.

While the salary of this extra policeman was,,considered in the
current budget, his employment was deemed advisable in view of
requests from many taxpayers in the Town.
Town Policeman, County Constable W. Bruce Wheeler was to be
advised that his services as night policeman was no longer
needed after December 31,1954.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
