RESOLUTIOId OF THE CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE
ESTABLISHIvIENT OF A FUND EIQTITLED "CITY OF LYN-
WOOD, RECREATIOi�T DEPARTT�4ENT, REVOLVIVG FUND'�
AND PROVIDIIQG FOR THE DEPOSI^t AND PlITHD3AWAL
OF MOIJEY IiQ SAID FUND.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does resolve as
folloina: �
a
Section 1: That the Recreation Director and Aesistant
Recre�tion Director of the City oP Lynssood shall deposit all monies
recelved �•aith the City Treasurer of the Cit.y of Lynwood pursuant to
Resolution No. 2047 of the City of Lynti��ood, adopted June 3, 1947.
Section 2: That the City Treasurer is hereby authorized and
directed to esta.blish at Security First National Bank of Los Angelea,
Lyn�vood Branch, a fund to be entitled °City of Lyn�vood, Recreation
Department, Revolvin� Fund". The City Treaaurer shall de�osit in
said fund such moniea as are turned over to him by the RecreAtion
Director or the Assistant Recreation Director �uhich are deposits or
other trust funds and not monies of the Cit.y or belonging to the City
or for the use of the City. Any two of the following officera of the
City are authorized to sign checks withdrawing funda from saic� City of
Lynwood, Recreation Department, Revolvin� Fund:
City Treasurer of the City of Lynwood
Recreation Director of the City of Lynwood
Asaistant Recreation Director of the City of Lynwoo3.
Section 3: It is contemplated and ord.ered that said fund
ahall be maintained as a revolving Pund for.use of the Recreation
Director to facilitate the disbursment of moniea deposited with arzid
Recreation Director by peraons using the recreational Pacilitiea of
the City of Lynwood, including the Recreation Center, as assistance
to said persons in carrying on said program such as payment oP umpires,
refereea, etc. Such monies are not and shall not be considered City
monies but shall be the funds of those who deposit them with the
Recreation Director and ahall be used only for the purpose Por which
they are deposited, The use of such monies in such funds is limited
to the foregoing. ,
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 18th day of Il9a.5�, 1948.
