BE Im F.ESOLVED by the City Council of th.e City of Lpn�vood,
California, as follovas:
, 1'lHE.REAS, pureuant to an Act of the Legislature of the State
of Calif ernia, 2pproved April 24, 1937, and kno�vn as the °Labor Code,"
the City Counczl of the City cf Lynwood_ is required to aecertain the
generaly prevailin� rate of hourly w�gee and the general prevailing rate
cf hourly cvages for legal holidays and overtine work, in this locality,
for each craft or type.of laborer, �vorlupan, or mecha.nic needed to exe-
cute the contract for furnishing and delivering certain materials and
supplies ln connection ���ith the ?m�rovement oi Fern�vood Avenue, to-�.�it:
The construction of cement concrete curbs, guYters, sideti�alks
and driveway approa.ches along the northerly side of the r.ortherly road-
v:ay of Fernvaood Avenue between the center line of Ernestine Avenue e.nd
the center line of Gertrude Drive;
The construction of.cement concrete curbs, gutters, and drive-
way approaches along the easterly side of Ernestine Avenue bet�veen the
northerly line oi' the northerly roadway of Ferr.KOOd. Avenue znd the
�.�esterly �rolongation of the southerly line of the firat alley northerly
of said Fernvrood Avenue;
The construction of cement concrete curbs and gutters along
the ryesterly side of Gert rude Drive between the northerly line of the
norithe!^13� road�ay of Fernr�ood P.venue ��nd. the easterlg prelonGation oP
the southerly line of tne firet a11eY northerly of said Fernvaood Avenue,
in accordance v=itn Plans and Specifications 1Qo. 1948-D-1 on file ia the
office of the City Glerk of said Cit,y of Lynvrood.
NOVV, THEREFORE, the C?ty Council of the Cit;� of Lynv�ood does
hereby resolve as follows:

Section 1: The City Council of the City of Lynvaqod doea
hereby ascertain and determine t}.�at the general prevailing rate of
hourly v�agea, in the locality in which said work, or improvement, is
to be done, for each craft or type of laborer, workman, or mechanic
needed to execute the contrset for furnishing and delivering certain
materials and sunplies in connection with the imarovement hereinabove
described and. in accordance with Pl�ne and Specifications No. 1948-D-1,
