Be it resolved by the.City Council of the City of Lynv��ood
as follotivs:
Sectioa 1: In the opinion of eaid City Council, the public
interest and convenience require, an3 said Gity Counc=l h�.ving acquired
,jurisdiction so to de, tne follorvin�o ��ork or in�provement is hereby
ordered to be done, to-���it:
The construction of cement concrete curbs, �utters, sidec�alks
and driveeray approaches alonj the northerly aide of the northerly road-
way of Eernvrood Avenue bet�J� the center line of �rnestine Avenue and
the Center line of Gertrude Drive;
The construction of cement concrete curbs, gutters, a.nd drive-
ti�ray anproact�es alon� the easterly �ide of Ernestine Avenue betvJeen the
,nor therly line of the northerly roadway of Fernvrood Avenue and the
vresterly prolongation of tre southerly line of the first alley north2rly
of said Fern�vood Avenue;
The construction of cement concrete curbs and gutters along
the siesterly side of Certrude Drive between the northerlp line of the
northerly roadway of Fern�°rood. Avenue and the easterly prolongation of
the southerly lir.e of the first alley northerly of said Fernwood 9ver.ue.
Section 2: All of the t°�ork or improvement aforesaid shall
be done �.3 conternplated in Re�olution of Intention No. 2122 of the City
Council of sa7.d City, to which reference is hereby made for Purther
particulars.
Section 3: Said proposed �vork, or ir�prove�ent, in *he opinion
of said City Cauncil, is of more than local or ordinary public beneflt
an� said City Council hereby determines a.ncl d.eclares that the district
to be benefited b� said work and improvemenT,, and to be assessed to
nay the entire coste and expenses thereof is particularly described in

Resolution of Intention No. 2122. Reference ie hereb,y made to said
- Resolution of Intention and to Plan No. 1948-D-� for further particulars
as to the extent of tne assessment district,
- Section 4: The proceedinga for the aforesaid vrork or im-
procement shall be had and taken under a.n Aat of the Legislature of
the State o£ California designated the Streets and Hlghways Code;
Division 7, and cited as the "Im�rovement Act of 1911", e.nd amendments
thereto.
Section 5: The City Council hereby deternines and @eclares
that serial bonds shall be issued in the form and manner provided in �
said aforenentioned Act, bearing interest at the ra.te of six (6) per
centum per annum to repreeent each assessment of tti�enty-five (�25.00)
or over, remaining unpaid for thirty days after the date of �°Jarrant.
Said. serial boiids s:�all extend. over a period ending nine years from
the second day of January next suceeeding the next October 15th follow-
ing their 3ate. Said bonds and interest thereon shall be paid at the
office of the City Treasurer of said City a.nd shall be disbursed by
him, all as provided in said Act.
Section 6: The City Clerk shall post and cause to be pub-
lished � notice inviting sealed proposals or bids for doing the above
described work or improvement in the time, form, and manner required by
