A RESOLUTION FOR FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF THE ROUNDABOUT PROJECT,
TIFFIN, IOWA — CONTRACTOR — RATHJE CONSTRUCTION
WHEREAS, On April 13, 2022, the Project Engineer states the Project construction was
completed in general accordance with the approved Plans and Specifications on file
with the City of Tiffin, Iowa and placed into operation and recommends Final Payment
be made to the Contractor.
WHEREAS, the Roundabout Project is complete and acceptable to the City of Tiffin and
to the Iowa Department of Transportation,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, that the
Roundabout Project is complete and acceptable to the City of Tiffin and final payment
shall be made to the Contractor.
On the 3rd day of May, 2022, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Schnedler introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2022-044, A RESOLUTION
FOR FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF THE ROUNDABOUT PROJECT, TIFFIN, IOWA —
CONTRACTOR — RATHJE CONSTRUCTION and made a motion for approval. Motion
seconded by Councilperson Orris.
Ayes: Schnedler, Limkemann, Havens, Orris, Olney.
Nays: None.
Absent: None.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2022-044, A RESOLUTION FOR FINAL
ACCEPTANCE OF THE ROUNDABOUT PROJECT, TIFFIN, IOWA — CONTRACTOR
— RATHJE CONSTRUCTION to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by
affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 3rd day of May, 2022.
