BFSOLUTION R�QUESTING ALLOCATION OF.STAT� FUbIDS .
WFIEREAS, the State of Californi.a, under Chapter 20, Statutes of
19�t6,(Extra Session)� as amended, has appropriated funda for allotment to provide
for financial assistance to local agencies, deYined thereitt as cauntiea, cities
and counties.or citie,s� so that they may.engage in a large public works program
in order to prevent and allevi.ate unemployment;' and �
tiYHERBAS� the City of I.yt�rood desires to app7.y for an allotment of
State sid,for the construction of a public works pro3ect under said Act� and
WHEREAS, an application to the State 73irector af Finance for such,
allotment has been prepared and presented bo,�the City Council' af the City o.f
Iyinvood Yor consideraticn; and , .
"�� , WE�REAS, the City-C�cil of the City of Lyrnrood has. made praviaion
for paying that portion of the cost of the pro3ect not requeated as an allotment
" from the State; •
NOW THEkEFORE B£ IT RFSOLVED that the City Council of the City aY
Lyttwood submit the aforesaid application £or State aid for the coxistruction af ,
a publia works project'to.the �irectoT of'Finance requesting an allotment oY ,

as the suthorized agent of the City of Lyffirood and is hereby authorized and
directed to sign the herein mentioned application oY said city and to submit the
same to the State Director of Finance, together vrith the certified statement af
the total estimated cost to be paid for construction of the pro�ect here3n
mentioned, and such other info:mation as m&y be reqnired; and said authorized
agent is flzrther authorized and directed as representative of said city to
conduct all negotiations and conduct all arrangements either the State
Allocation Board or the Director of Finance, includi.ng requests Yor payment of
the Sta,te's share of the cost of the constructicm of the aforementioned public
works pro3ect.
