A RE90LUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYN�ti00D CONFIRMING REPORT OF THE STREET SUPERIN-
TENDII4T RELATIVE TO WEED ABATII`dENT FOR THE 1948-
1949 YEAR.
PIHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood, on the
17th daq of February, 1948, adopted ita Resolution No. 2092 relating
to the abatement of dry or dryin� weeda on certain,lots or parcels
of land within the aorporate limits of said City in accordance with
the provisiona of Act 51g7 oY the Legislature of the 3tate of Calif-
ornia, ae amended, and
WFIEREAB, a full and complete hearing was held on said
Resolution in the time, form, and manner required by law and the
Street Superintendent was instructed to complete the abatement of
such nuisance, and �
WHEREAB,''the Street Superintendent has ca.used auch nuisance
to be abated and has filed with the City Council an itemized report
in writing ahowing the cost of weed abatement on each separate lot
and ha.s caused a copy thereoP to be posted near the door oP the
Council Chamber in the City HaZl, as required by law, and
WHEREAS, a hearing was duly held on said report and no
ob�ections or protests were filed by any of the property ownera to
be asaessed for said weed abatement as set forth in the Report of the
Street Superintendent, and
WHEREAB, it appeare that all noticea were properly posted
and that the proceedings were had and taken according to law,
N04V, THEREF'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
city of Lynwood that said report of the Street Superintendent of the
City of Lynvrood be, and the same is hereby confirmed and tha.t the
costa of aba.ting auch nuieanoes on each oP the lota or paroels of
land aet forth in said report do hereby conatitute apecial aseessment

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City�Clerk of the City of
Lqnti�rood be and he ia hereby directed to turn over to the Tax
Collector of the County of Los Anaelea a copy of the report of the
Street 8uperintendent and said Tax Colleator is hereby inatructed
to add the amounta of the reepective assesamente to the regulAr
billa for ta.xea covering the 1948-49 fiacal year on the lots described
in said report, all as provided in Section 7 of eaid Act 5197.
ADOPTED and APPROVED thia 20th day oP July , 1948.
