PROPOSED Ii�IPROVEMERTT OF CORNISH AV�NUE BY THE
COPiSTRUCTI0D1 OF AiQ ORNAr�PdTAL STREFT LIGHTIi�1G
SYSTEM.
, The City Council o£ the City oP Lym��ood does hereby
resolve as follov�s: .
� SVHEREAS, a report on tl�e proposed improvenent, to-wit: the
construction of an orna.mental atreet lignting system in Cornish Avenue
, bettveen Abbott Road and the easterly prolongation of tne soutYierly line
of Pendletoiz Avenue has been prepared by the Gity Engineer and �elivered
to the City Council of the City of Lynwood, as provided in Division 4�
of the Streeta and Sighways Code, cited as the "3pecial Assesanent, Lirai-
tation and Majority Protest Act of 1g31" as amended, as directed by said
City Council at its regular meeting held on August 3, 194�8.
NOS4, THEREFORE, be it resolved ae follow�:
; 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynt�.*ood does hereby
approve said report an� ordera that eaid report be Yiled with the City
Cleri�.
� 2. That the City Counc il hereb;� f ixes the 1`9:th day of October,
1q�8, at the h�ur of 8:00 o�clock P. T�1, as tne day and hour, and the
Council Chamber of the City Hall, 11331 I'laza Street, in the City of
Lynwood, California, as the place �ohen and Ushere any and a11 persons
interested may appear before said City Council and be heard on any
matter pertaining to said report. �
3. That the City Clerk is hereby ordered to �ive the notice
prescribed by Section 2851 of said Streets and highways Code referred
to and�cited as "Special Assessment Investigation, Limi�atlon and P+Ia,jorit;
�.w�Protest Act of 1931" to a11 persons designated in Section 2851.
