The City Council of the City of Lynz�aood does hereby resolve
as follows: �
Seation 1: That the first alley westerly of Caress Street,
extending from Santa Ana Boulevard to Louise Street as ahown on map
recorded in Eook 12�, Pages 10 and 11 of Pda.ps Records of Los Angeles
County, California, is unnecessary for present or prospective alley
purposea and that the public interest, neceasity, and convenience re-
quire, and the City Council of said City hereby declares its intention
to vacate and abandon said alley. ,
Section 2: :hat said alley as above described lying and
being in said City of Lynwood, is shown on I�Iap Ido. 402-B on file in
the office of the City Clerk of said City �nd to which all parties are
referred to for iurther particulars as to the proposed vacation�and
abandonment.
Section 3: That the City of Lynwood nereby reserves an
easement in, upon, over, and acrosa a�.id alley above described for
purposes of operating, constructing and/or naintaining oublic
utilitiea therein.
Section 4; That these proceedings are had and taken under
the provi�ions of Sections 8300 to 8324 and 8330, 8331, both inclu-
sive, oY the Streets and Yighways Code oi the State of California, aa
amended. `
8ection $: That Tueaday, the 21at day o£ 5eptember, 194�8,
�.t the hour of 8:00 o'clock P. P?. in the Council.Chamber of the City
� Hall in said City is hereby fixed ae the time`and place for hearing
any protests or objections to the proposed vacation or abandonment of
said alley.

directed to publish �.nd post notice of the pa.ssage of this resolution
in the time, form, and ranner required by law. '
