VfF�R�AS, pursuant in the anriexation o£ "Ilzu.nhabited Territory
Act o£ 1939," there has been presented to the City Council o£ the City of Lynwood, '
California, petition dated September 16, 1948, �ecuted by Ozell Yaffe and
Herman Yaffe, requesting the annexation of certain propertg lying southerly
of Carlin Avenue and easterly of Bullis Road in.the County of Y;os :Angeles� 5tate

" of California, and lying withi.n the following described liness
Beginning at a point on the northerly line af Carlin �
Avenue (33 �• �de) distant thereon 111t6.50 feet
from the easterly line of Bullis Road (50 ft. wide),
• said.point being on the boundary line of City of
Lyrn+*ood as said boundary line e�asted September 17,
1948; thence'South 18 degrees, 45 mirrutes, !�5 seconds
West along the easterly boundary line o£ the City
of Lyr�crood to the northerly line oY Tract 11991 as

WHEF�AS, said petition is signed by the owners of not less than
one-fourth of the area of land in such territory and representing not less than
one-fourth of the assessed value of such territory�accord{ng to the last preced- '
, ing equalized assessment ro71 0£ the Cwnty of Los Angeles, State of Cali£ornia,
in which auch territory ie situated;
NQ'N THEREFORE � IT RESOLVED:
Section 1 : That pursuant to the annexation of the °Uninhabited
, Territory Act of 1939" the City Couz�c31 of the City 'of Lyrnvood hereby gives '
notice of said prcposed annexation. �

Section 2 : Said territory is hereby designated for idontifica-
tion as "Ozell Manor� Annex No. 2".
Section 3: 'Said City Council hereby gives notice'o£ and fixes the
19th day of October, 191�8, 'at the hour of 8 O�clock p.m. in the Council Chambers
in the City Hall, 11331 Plaza Street� Lymcood� Cali£ornia, as the day, hour� and
place when and where any person owning real property within such territory so
proposed to be annexed and having any objections to the propased annexation �y
appear be£ore the City Council of said City of Lynwood and shar cause why such
territory should not be so annexed.
Section b : The City Clerk is heretry directed to cause a copy
of this resolution to be published once a week for two successive weeks prior
to said hearing, in the T Press, a newspaper of general circulation, pub-
lished in said City of Lynwood.
Section 5 : The City Clerk ahall certi£y to the adoption of
this resolution.
Passed and Adopted this 21st day of September, 1948.
