' RESOLUTION OVERRULING FROTESTS IN CONNEGTION
WITfI THE HEARING ON DEBT LII�ITATION.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lynwood,
Galifornia, as followa:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lyma:ood did, on
the 17th day oP August, 19�8, approve an Investigation Report under
the provisione oP the Streeta and Highways Code division 4, cited as
u8pecial Asaessment Investigation, Limitation and Ma�ority Yroteet Act
of 1931'� upon the proposed i�provement of Corniah Avenue in the City
of Lynwood by the construction of an ornamental street lighting syetem,
and ,
WfiEREAS, said Report having been duly prepared and filed,
j a hearing wae held thereon by eaid City Council on the 19th day of
i October, 19�8 in the manner provided in said Act above referred to, and
� , SdHEREAB, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has hereto-
( fore on the 19th day oP October, 1948, adopted its Resolution of Report
i of said hearing, which said resolution of report was, on the 19th clay

' oY October, 1948, filed with the Clerk of said City Council, all in the

� ti�e, form, and manner required under the provisions of said Act above
�
referred to; and

WfiEREAS, more than thirty days have expired since the date
i
. of mailing notice of hearing on said report;
NOIV, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood doee
hereby resolve as followa:
I [ (1) That the proteata made at said hearing on said investi-
' gation report be, and the same are hereby overruled;
� (2) mhat the public interest, convenience and necessity

� require the doing and making of the public improvement eet forth and
�
r described in said report above referred to and aubstantially in the.

manner therein set forth; '

(�) That the pro,ject, consiating of the proposed improve-
ment above referred to, is feasible;
(4) That the eatiulated total amount proposed to be asaessed
upon any or all lots or parcela of land for the coste and expenses
of said proposed improverent doea not exceed the limitation of indebt-
edness established and set forth in said Act above referred to and
will not, by the levy thereof, cause said linitation to be exceed in
any inatance;
(5) That no ma,jority protest in writing has been filed by
the ownere of property proposed to be asaeased to pay the coata and
expenses of said proposed improvement or any part thereof, in the
manner provided in said Act above referred to;
(6) That it is hereby ordered that the proceedings for the
making of said proposed improvement be undertaken pursuant to the pro-
visions of an Act of the Le�islature of the State of California desig-
, nated ae the Streets and High�oays Code Division 7 cited as "Improvement
Act of 1911", and amendments thereto.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of October, 1948.
