RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS IN CONNEGTION
WITH THE HEARING ON DEBT LIMITATION.
HE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City ofLynwood,
Celifornia, as Pollows:
S�iEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did, on
the 17th day of Auguet, 1948, approve and Investigation Report under
the provieions of the Streets and Highwaps Code Diviaion 4, cited as
"5pecial Aesesement Investigation, Limitation and Ma�ority Protest Act
of �931�� upon the proposed improvement of Nor ton Avenue in the City
of Lynvaood by the construction of sanitary sewers, including house
connections and ma.nholes, and
4+IHEREAB, said Report having been duly prepared and filed,
a hearing was held thereon by eaid City Council on the 19th day of
October, 194•8 in the manner provided in said Act above referred to,and
WfiEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has hereto-
fore on the 19th day of October, 1948, adopted its Reaolution of
` Report of said hearing, which said resolution of report was, on the
19th da.y oP October, 1948, filed with the Clerk oP said City Council,
' all in the time, form and manner required under the provisio.na of said
Act above referred , to; and
PT�IEREAB, more than thirty days have expired since the date
oP mailing notice of hearing on aaid report;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynorood does
hereby resolve as followe:
(1) That the p'rotests made at said hearing on said investi-
gation Report be, and the same are hereby overruled;
(2} That the publlc intereat, convenience �.nd necessity
require the doing and making of the public improvement set forth and
described in said Report above referred to and subetantially in the
manner therein aet forth;

(3) That the pro�ect, conaiating of the proposed improve-
ment above rePerred to, is feasible;
(k) That the estimated total amount proposed to be asaessed
upon any or all lota or parcela of land Por the coats and expenses of
said proposed improvement does not exceed the limitation oP indebted-
nesa establiehed and set forth in said Act above referred to and will
not, by the levy thereof, cause said limitation to be exceeded_in any
inatance;
(5) That no ma�ority proteet in writing has been filed by
tYie owners of property proposed to be asaessed to pay the coeta and
expenses of said propoaed impronenent or any part thereoP, in the
manner provided in said �ct above referred to;
(6) That it ie hereby ordered that the proceedings for the
making of said proposed improvement be undertaken purauant to the
proviaiona of an Act of the Legialature of the State of California
deaignated as the Streets and Highways Code Diviaion 7 cited as
"Inprovement Act of 1911", and amendments thereto.
