PENSATION IIdSURANC� FOR REGISTERED VOLUNTEER

Chapter 104, Statutes 19�6 lat Extraordinary Sesaion, providea:
'�The Galifornia State Disaster Council shall eatablieh
by rule and regulation various claesea oP disaster
aervice workere and the scope of the dutiea of each
claea. The CaliPornia State Disaeter Council shall
also adopt rules and regulationa preacribing the manner
in which disaster service workera of each class are to
be registered. All such rulea and regulations shall be
deaigned to Pacilitate the paying oP workmen�s compen-
sation", and

service workera, the scope of dutiea oP each class and the manner of
regiatration oY such volunteer workera; and

Chapter 104, Statutea 1946, lat Extraordinary Seesion, providee:
I "Any disaster council which both agreea to follow the
rulee and regulations established by the California
State Dieaeter Council pursuant to tne provisione of
Section 1599 of this code and aubstantially conplies
with such rules and regulations ahall be certified by
the California State Dieaster Council. Upon making
auch certification, and not before, the disaeter council
becomea an accredited disaster council", and
WfiEREAB, the City of Lynk*ood, California has reglatered and
will hereafter regiater volunteer Disaster Service Workera, and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood, California deairea to become
and "accredited Disaeter Couricil° organization in order that in�ured
Disaster Service Workera registered with it may benefit by the pro-

viaions of Chapter 10�, Statutea 194•6, lst Extraordinary 3ession,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City oP Lynwood,
California hereby agreea to follow the rules and regulations eatab-
lished by the California State Disaster Council under date of April 4�,
1946, pursuant to the proviaione of Section 1599 oY the M?litarq
