AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF McCALL, VALLEY COUNTY, IDAHO, AMENDING
CHAPTER 8, CITY COUNCIL; MAYOR, OF TITLE 1,ADMINISTRATIVE, OF THE MCCALL
CITY CODE AS FOLLOWS: IN SECTION 1.8.5: SALARY OF THE COUNCIL MEMBERS
CHANGING THE MONTHLY SALARY TO TWO HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS (250.00); IN
SECTION 1.8.11: SALARY OF MAYOR, CHANGING THE MONTHLY SALARY TO FOUR
HUNDRED DOLLARS (400.00) AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF McCALL, IDAHO:
Section 1: That Chapter 8, City Council;Mayor,of Title 1,Administrative, of the McCall City
Code, be, and the same is hereby, AMENDED as follows, to-wit:
1.8.5: SALARY OF THE COUNCIL MEMBERS:
Each member of the council shall receive a monthly salary in the sum of two hundred twenty five
dollars ($225.00) two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00). Each member of the council shall also
receive all benefits afforded to regular full-time employees of the city of McCall as described in
the annual "Employee Benefits Guide". Each council member shall also receive Idaho PERSI
retirement benefits in the same amount afforded to city of McCall employees as prescribed by
Idaho Code section 59-1322. No other compensation shall be afforded to the council members.
1.8.11: SALARY OF MAYOR:
The mayor shall receive a monthly salary in the sum of three hundred seventy five dollars
($375.00) four hundred dollars ($400.00). The mayor shall also receive all benefits afforded to
regular full-time employees of the city of McCall as described in the annual "Employee Benefits
Guide". The mayor shall also receive Idaho PERSI retirement benefits in the same amount afforded
to city of McCall employees as prescribed by Idaho Code section 59-1322.No other compensation
shall be afforded to the mayor.
Section 2: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect January 1, 2020, upon approval
and publication, according to law.

CHAPTER 8, CITY COUNCIL; MAYOR, OF TITLE 1,ADMINISTRATIVE, OF THE MCCALL

The principal provisions of the Ordinance:
• amend 1.8.5, Salary of the Council Members, to increase the monthly
salaries of each member of the council from $225.00 per month to $250.00
per month
• amend 1.8.11,Salary of Mayor,to increase the monthly salary of the mayor
from $375.00 per month to $400.00 per month
The effective date of the Ordinance is January 1, 2020. The full text of the Ordinance is available
for review at City Hall and will be provided by the City Clerk to any citizen upon personal request,
or can be viewed on the City website at www.mccall.id.us.
