BY FROPOIdENTB OF THE ANNEXATION OF THE TERRITORY

VIHEREAS, the proponents of the proposed annexation of that
territory known ae °Carlin-Caress et al° did heretoPore on the lOth
day of September, 19�$ file with the City Clerk of the City oP Lynwood,
affidavit, proof, and copy of publication of "Notice of Intention to
Circulate Petition for the Annexation of Territory to tne City of
Lynwood" all aa provided by law, and said document is nereey made a
part nereof and referred to for description of said territory.
NOt�I, THEREFORE, BE IT FESOLVED, that the City Cotzncil of
the City of Lynoaood does herewith recognize the filing of the afore-
mentioned petitions and ordera the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood
to certify as to their sufficiency by checking with the "Great Register"
of the County Registrar of Voters, Los Angelee, California.
PASSED and ADOOPTED this 3rd day of November, 194�8.
