; THAT THE CITY COUNCIL FiAB ACQUIFcED JURISDICTION
TO ORDER THE PAOPOSED �JORK OR IP;iPROVEhfENT.
WfiEREAB, the City Council of the City of Lyntirood did,,on the
19th day of October, 19k8, adopt ite Resdlution of Intention No. 2162
ordering the improvement oP Norton Avenue between California Avenue
and Century Boulevard by the cqnstruction of sanitary sewers and'
appurtenant work, and
tJHEREAS, Tuesday the 16th day of November, 19µ8, at the hour
oP 8:00 o�clock P. h�, at the Council Chambera in the City Hall, in
said City of Lynw*ood, was the time and place set in said Resolution oP
Intention when and where any ob,jections to the proposed work or improve-
ment, or to the extent of the district to be asaessed, or to the gradea
to which the work was proposed to be done, would be heard by said City
Gouncil; anfl
W'HEREAB, the City Clerk of said City has heretofore presented
and filed an affidavit of publication of said Reaolution of Intention,
shor�*ing that the.same was publiahed according to law; and
, � WAEREAS, said City Clerk has also presented and filed his
afYidavit oY mailing notides of the adoption of said Re of
Intention in the time, Porm and manner, and to the peraons, all as
provided by an Act of the�Legislature.of the State of California, deaig-
nated aa Division 7 oP the Streeta and Highways Code, and cited as the
p2mprovement Act oY 1911", and a�endments thereto, and
, SVhEREAS, THE City En�ineer-Superintendent oP Streete has
heretofore preaented and filed an affidavit ahowing that notices of
the passage of said Resolution of Intention have been posted in the
manner provided by said Act; and

WfiEREAB, at said hearing held on the 16th day of November,
19�8, no proteats were filed against any of the thinga proposed to be
done under Resolution of 2ntention No, 2162,
N0:4, TAEI�EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Lynwood"that the eaid City Couneil has acquired full �uriediction
to order the proposed work or improvement.
APPROVED and ADOPTED thia 16th day of Idovember, 1948..�
