IN THE MATTER OF THE PROPOSED Ii�'FiOVEidENT OF
NORTON AVENUE BY TAE CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY

RE90LUTION ORDERING :HE �'lORK AND D2RECTIiVG THE
CITY GLERK TO GIVE NOTICE INVITING BIDS.
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Lynwood
ae followa: .
Seotion 1: In the opinion of said City Council, the public
intereat and convenience require,.and said City Council having acquired
� �urisdiction so to do, the following work or improvement ie hereby
ordered to be done, to-wit: the construction.of eanitary sewers and
appurtenant work in Norton�Avenue. �
Section 2: All of tne worls or improvement aforeeaid ehall
be done as contemplated in Reaolution oP Intention No. 21(i2 of the City
Council of said City, to whicn reference is hereby made Por further
particulara.
_ Section 3. Said proposed work, or improvement, in the opinian
, of eaid City Council, is oP more than local or ordinary public benefit
and said City Council hereby determines and declarea that the district
to be benefited by said work and improvement, and to be asseseed. to
� pay the entire coate and expensee thereof is particularly described in
Resolution of Intention No. 2162. Reference ie hereby made to said
Resolution of Intention and to Plan IQo. 19�$-F-2 for further particulara
as to the extent oP the assesar�ent district.
Section 4: The proceedings Por the aforesaid �,*ork or improve-
ment shall be had and ta.lten under an Act of the Legialature of the
State of California designated the St'reets and Highways Code, Division
7, an� cited as the "Improvement Act oY 1911", and amendments thereto,
Seetion 5: The City Council hereby determinea and declares
that serial bonds aliaTl be isaued in the form and ma,nner provided in
said aforementioned Act, bearing intereat at the rate of eix (6) per
aentun per annum to represent"each aesesement of twenty-fine (�a25.00)

or over, remaining unpaid for thirty daye aYter the da.te of k*arrant,
5aid aerial bonda shall extend over a period ending nine yeare from the
second day of January next succeeding the next October lsth following
their date. 3aid bonde and interest thereon ahall be paid at the
offioe of the City Treasurer oP eaid City and ahall�be disbursed by
him, all ae p:ovided in eaid Act.
Section 6: The City Clerk shall poat and cause to be pub-
lished a notice inviting sealed propoeale or bida for doing the above
deearibed work or improvement in the time, form and ma,nner required by
lata.
