RESOLUTIOAt ENDORSING HIGH SCHOOL DI3TRICT FORMATION
L7HEREA3, a group oP citizens �iave caused to be circulated
petitions for the formation of a High 5chool District in the City of
Lynwood, and
WHERF.AS, said petitiona were completed in three days with
9,468 signaturea evidencing aupport of the conmunity in the plan,
NOEJ, THER�FORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of
the City of Lynwood hereby endorses the plan of forming a High School
Diatrict and urges that the matter be brou�ht to a vote of the people
as soon ae possible.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be instruated
to for�aard copies of this Resolution to California State Board of
c
Education, County Superintendent of Schools, Board of Truatees of
Lynwood Elementary Diatrict, Board of Trustees, Compton Union Secondary
, School District, �d. trl. Jones, Principal of Lynwood Junior Hlgh School,
Frank McCall, Superintendent of Schools, Lynwood, and Board of Directore,
