ING THAT THE GITY COUNCIL HAS ACQUIRED JURIS-
DICTION TO ORDER THE PROPOSED WOHK OR IMPROVE-
� I�1VT.
�!�HEREAS, the City. Council of the City of Lynwood did,,on the
7th da.y of December, 1A48, adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 2171
ordering the improvement of Cornish Avenue between the' southerly line
of Abbott Road and a line 30 feet southerly of and parallel to the
northerly line of Tract No 631z as shown on map recorded in Book 71,
Page 75 of Nia.pa, Recorda of Los Angeles County, Californi'a, by the in-
stallation of an ornamental atreet lighting system, and
[�1fIEREAS, Tuesday the 4�th day of January, ig49 at the hour
of 8:00 0'��lock P. M. at the Council Chambera in the City Hall, in said
City of Lynwood, was the time and place set in said Resolution of in-
tention when and where any ob,9ectiona to the proposed ti�.*ork or improve-
ment, or to the extent oP the district to be asaesaed, or to the gradea
to which the work was proposed to be done, would be heard by said City
Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of said City has heretoPore presente'd
and filed an affidavit of publication of said Resolution of Intention,
showing that the same was publiahed according to law; and
WHEREAS, eaid City Clerk has also presented and filed his
affidavit of mailing notices of the adoption of said Resolution of In-
tention in the time, form and manner, and to the peraona, all as pro-
vided by an Act of the Legislature of the State of California, desig-
nated as Division 7 of the Streets and fIightiaays Code, and cited as the
!'Improvement Act of 1911", and amendmenta thereto, and
� jJHEREAS, the City Engineer-Superintendent of Streets has
heretofore presented and filed an affidavit showing that noticea of
the passage of said Resolution Intention have been poated in the

manner provided by said Act; and �
WHEREA3, at said hearing held on the �th day of January,
. 194g no proteata were filed against any of the things proposed to be
done under Resolution of Intention No. 2171.
NOtd, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by tne City Council of the
City of Lynwood that the said City Council has acquired full 3uris-
diction to order the propoaed �aork or iiaprovement:
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 4th day of January, 19�9
