CORNTSH AVENUE BY THE INBTALLATION OF AN ORNA-
M�NTAL STREET LIGHTIi1G SY�TEM.
RESOLUTION ORDERIiJG THE WORK AND DIRECTIIQG THE
CITY CI,ERIS TO GIVE NOTIGE IANITING BIDS.
Se it resolved by the GSty Gouncil of the City of Lynwood.
` as followa:
Section 1: In the opinion of said City Council, the publie
intereat and convenience require, and said City Council having aequired
�uriediction so to do, tne,following worl� or Smprovement is hereby
ordered to be done, to-wit: the installation of an ornamental street
lighting� system in Cornish �venue. �
3ection 2: A7.1 of the work or ir�provement aforesaid ahall,
be done as contemplated in Resolution of Intention No. 21�1 of tlie City
Council of said Citg, to which rePerence is hereby made for further
particulars.

, Section 3: Said proposed work, or improvement, in the opinion
' of said City Council, is of more than local or ordinary publlc benefit
and.said Gity Council hereby determines and declarea that the district
to be benefited by said work and improvement, and to be asaessed to
pay the entire coste and expenaes thereoP is particularly described in
Resolution of Intention No. 21�1. Reference is hereby made to+said �

- as to the extent of the asseasment diatrict.
Section �: The proceedinga for the aforesaid work or improve-
ment shall,be had and taken under an Aot of the Legialature of the
, Btate of California deaignated the Streets and Aighe Code, Divieion
7, and cited as the "Improvement Aet of 1911", and amendments thereto.
' Se¢tion 5: The City Council hereby determinea and declarea
that serial bonfls ahall be issued in the form and manner provided in
saic? aPorementioned Act,.bearing interest at the rate of six �6) per
centum pex annum to represent'"each asaessment of torenty-five ��25.00)

years from the eecond day of January next suceeeding the next October 15th

him, all as provided in.said Act.
Section 6: The City Clerk shall post and cause to be pub-
liehed a�.notice inviting aealed proposals or bida for doing the above
described work or improvement in the time, form and manner required by
law.
