A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 28E AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
TIFFIN AND THE CLEAR CREEK AMANA COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR
THE SHARED USE OF THE DISTRICT'S AND CITY'S FACILITIES
Whereas, the City of Tiffin ("City") and the Clear Creek Amana Community School
District ("District") approved a shared facilities use, 28E agreement in September of
2020; and,
Whereas, said agreement specified the specific annual fee to be paid by the City to the
District for the use of its facilities; and,
Whereas, any changes to the agreement are to be executed as an addendum,
Now, therefore, the City and the District agree to the following addition to the 28E
agreement:
1. The City shall pay the District an annual fee of $4,000 for the use of the
District's facilities for practices, games and other requested recreation programs
and will review this amount at the end of each year for any adjustments that need
to be made.
On the 17th day of May, 2022, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Schnedler introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2022-045, A RESOLUTION
AMENDING THE 28E AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF TIFFIN AND THE
CLEAR CREEK AMANA COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR THE SHARED USE
OF THE DISTRICT'S AND CITY'S FACILITIES and made a motion for approval.
Motion seconded by Councilperson Orris.
Ayes: Schnedler, Havens, Orris.
Nays: None
Absent: Limkemann, Olney.
Whereupon three Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2022-045, A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE
28E AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF TIFFIN AND THE CLEAR CREEK
AMANA COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR THE SHARED USE OF THE
DISTRICT'S AND CITY'S FACILITIES to be adopted and signified his approval of the
same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 17th day of May, 2022.
