CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 2011-84
RECOGNIZING JODI GALLUP FOR FIVE YEARS
OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF MEDINA
WHEREAS, Jodi Gallup has been a valued full time City of Medina employee in the
Administration Department of the City since September 20, 2006; and
WHEREAS, Jodi has served as the Assistant to City Administrator/Deputy Clerk for nearly
4 years, and has also served the City as Office Assistant to Administration and Administration
Intern; and
WHEREAS, Jodi serves as the City's Election Coordinator and provided leadership
through the creation of a second election precinct in Medina in 2008; and
WHEREAS, Jodi serves as the staff liaison to the Park Commission and has coordinated
the completion of various park and trail studies, park equipment purchases, acquisition of Tomann
Preserve, and the installation of uniform park signs; and
WHEREAS, Jodi has applied for various grants and received funding to begin an organics
recycling program, complete the field house in Hamel Legion Park, and install handicap accessible
doors at the Hamel Community Building; and
WHEREAS, Jodi has demonstrated initiative by obtaining the title of Certified Municipal
Clerk of Minnesota by completing a three year professional development program through the
Minnesota Municipal Clerks Institute.
WHEREAS, the City of Medina expresses sincere gratitude for Jodi's dedication and
continued service to the Medina community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Medina
acknowledges and thanks Jodi Gallup for five years of service to the community.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Pederson
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Crosby, Martinson, Pederson, Siitari, Weir
And the following voted against same:
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
