RESOLUTIQN OF INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS
INTEtiTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF SHIRLEY AVENUE
LYING BETWEEN ATLANTIC AVENUE AND THE FTRST �
ALLEY j�lEBTERLY THEREOF.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood doee hereby resolve
as Pollovra:
That a portion of Shirley Avenue lying betU*een Atlantic
Avenue and the first alley westerly thereoP, described ae follovre:
Beginning at the eouth�ree� corner of Lot 11, Block 11,
of Tract No. 9288, as ahown on map recorded in Book 124, pagea
42 and 43 of Mapa, Recorde of Los Angelea County, Calif—
, ornia; thence southerly along the prolonged weaterly
line of eaid Lot 4,�0 feet; thence easterly parallel to
the southerly line of said lot 8 Yeet to the point oP
beginning of a curve aoncane northweeterly having a radiue
of 15 feet; thence northeaeterly along said curve 23.�7
feet to a point on the westerly line of Atlantic Avenue
(100 Pt. wide); thence northerly along said weaterly line
of Atlantic Avenue 4.50 feet to the point of beginning of
a curve eoncave northweaterly having a ra,dius of 1� feet;
thence eoutkiwesterly along said curve 23.57 feet to a
� point on the northerly line of Shirley Avenue �60 feet
wide); thence.westerly in a direct line to the point of
beginning,
is unneceeeary for present or prospeetive atreet purposes and that
the public interest, neceasity and convenience require, and the Gity
Council of said City hereby declarea tts intention to vacate and
abando n that portion of eaid Avenue:
Section 2: That said portion of Shi'rley Avenue as deacribed
above, lying and being in said City of Lynk�ood, ie ehow.n on Ma.p No. 600
on file in the Office of the Gity Clerk of said City and to whiah all
parties interested are referred to Por further.particulara as to the
. proposed vacation and abandonment.
9ection 3: That these proceedinge are had and taken under
the proviaiona oP Sections 8300 to 832�, both inclusine, of the Streete
and Highways Code oP the State of California, as amended.
Section 4�: That Tuesday, the 3rd day of h1ay, 19?�9 at the
hour oP 8:00 o'clock P. M. in the Council Chamber of the City Hall
in said City ie hereby fixed ae the time and place for hearing any:
protests or ob�ectione to the proposed vacation or abandonment of eaid

Section 5: That the City Clerk of said City 1E hereby directed
to publish and post notice of the.passage of this resolution in the
time, form and manner required by l�w.
