A RESOLUTIODI OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, PASSING UPON OBJECTIONS, AND
DIRECTIi1G THE STREET SUPERINTENDENT TO ABATE THE
WEED NUIBANCE THAT EXISTS ON VACAIQT LOTS IN Tf:E
CITY OF LYNWOOD.
Be it resolved by theCity Council of the City of Lgnti•:ood,
as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City oY Lynwood, CaliPornia
did, on the 15th day of March, 19�9 adopt Reaolution No. 2192 relating
to the abatement of dry and drying weeds on certain lota in the City
of Lynwood, and
WfiEREAS, due notice was given to destroy auch weeds by post-
ing "IJotice to Deetroy Weedsn notices at not more than 100 feet in
dietance apart as required by law, and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for the hearing of pro-
teata and ob�ections to said matter, a hearing was duly held and no
saritten or oral ob�ections were made, either in writing or orally, to
the doing of said work, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has considered
all of the facte and is Yully informed in the matter; that they have
acquired �uriadiction to proceed and perform the work of removal oP
eaid nuisancee,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE30LVED, that the Street Superinten-
dent of the City of Lynwood be and he is hereby instructed to abate the
nuieances described in said Resolution A1o. 2192 by having the weeds
referred to remoned, and he and hie asaiatants are hereby e�reasly
authorized to enter upon private property for that purpose.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any property oianere ehall ha.ve
the right to have any auch weed nuieance removed and abated at his ot�*n
expenae, provided such work is done prior to the time the work is done
