RESOLUTION OF OR.UER OF 'JACATION FOR CERTAIN
PORTIONS OF SHIRLEY AVENUE BETWEEN ATLANTIC
AND FIRST ALLEY ��fESTERLY THEREOF, Iid THE CITY
OF LYNWUOD.
t�rIEREAB, the City Gouncil of the City oP Lynr,�ood did, on
the 5th day of April, 1949 pass ita Reaolution oY Intention declarin�
its intention to vacate certain portions of Shirley Avenue lying be-
tween Atlantic Avenue and the Piret alley weaterly thereof, and
WHEREAS, eaid resolution was published and notice of etreet
vacation was poated in the time, form and manner required by law, and
W:iEREAS, a full and impartial hearing was held on the 3rd
day ot' May, 194g covering all the mattere described in said
Reaolution of Intention, and
WHEREAS, no proteate or ob,�ections were made at eaid hearing
to said proposed vacation,
NOW; THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood, as folloa�s:
I' SECTION 1: That that portion oP Shirley Avenue beginning at
the southwest eorner of Lot 11, Bloek 11, of Tract No. 9288, as shown on
' �n recorded in Book 124, pages 42 and 43 of Ma.pa, Recorda of Los
Angelee County, CaliPornia; thence southerly along the prolonged westerly
line of eaid Lot 4,50 Peet; thence eaeterly parallel to the aoutherly
line of eaid lot 84�.99 feet to the point of beginning oY a curve con-
cave northweaterly having a radiue of 15 feet; thence northeaeterly
along said curve 23.,57 feet to a point on the westerly line of Atlantic
Avenue �100 ft. wide); thence northerly along said weaterly line oP
Atlantic Avenue �.50 Peet to the point of beginning oP a curve concave
northweaterly having a radiue of 15 feet; thence eouthwesterly a.long
said curve 23•57 feet to a point on the northerly line of Shirley Avenue
(60 feet wide); thence westerly in a direct line to the point of be-
ginning, is unnecessary for present or prospective publSc uee and it is
� hereby ordered that eaid atreet be vacated and abandoned.
SECTION 2: That the City Clerk ahall cause a certified

copy of said order to be recorded in the Office oP the County Recorder
of eaid County.
