HomeMy Public PortalAbout2011-091 Resolution Recognizing Greg Leuer for 5 Years of ServiceMember Pederson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.2011-91 RECOGNIZING GREG LEUER FOR FIVE YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF MEDINA WHEREAS, Greg Leuer has been a valued full-time City of Medina employee in the Public Works Department since October 1, 2006; and WHEREAS, Greg has served as the Water Supply System Operator for 4 years, operating well monitoring and reporting, and has fulfilled the requirements for certification with a Class D License; and WHEREAS, Greg has served as the Wastewater Collection System Operator for 4 years, and has fulfilled the requirements for certification with a Class SD License; and WHEREAS, Greg is certified as a Tree Inspector, keeping up with the necessary certification and assisting the Public Works Superintendent in the inspection of City trees; and WHEREAS, Greg has also served on the Safety Committee for the City for the past three years as the safety liaison for the Public Works Department; and WHEREAS, Greg has also done training in Stormwater and Illicit Discharge Management, as well as the yearly Public Works Safety Training; and WHEREAS, Greg frequently meets and works with the public, representing the City of Medina in a professional manner; and WHEREAS, the City of Medina expresses sincere gratitude for Greg's dedication and continued service to the Medina community. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Medina acknowledges and thanks Greg Leuer for five years of service to the community. Dated: October 4, 2011. C Thomas M.
