CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.2011-96
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM LIBERTY TRIATHLON
WHEREAS, Liberty Triathlon has generously offered to donate a check in the amount of
$3,360 (the "Donation") to the city of Medina (the "City"); and
WHEREAS, the Donation was made in appreciation of the Medina reserves and seven
other departments helping with their event; and
WHEREAS, the Donation will be deposited to the City's Police Reserves Fund and
distributed as follows:
Medina Police Reserves $1200
West Hennepin Public Safety $760
Orono Police Reserves $300
Plymouth Police Reserves $100
Loretto Fire Department $300
Hamel Fire Department $200
Corcoran Reserves $200
Long Lake Fire Department $300
WHEREAS, the City wishes to accept the Donation and express its gratitude to Liberty
Triathlon for their generosity.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina,
Minnesota that the City accepts the Donation and thanks Liberty Triathlon.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Pederson
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:

Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
