CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 2011-98
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF
ORDINANCE NO. 510 BY TITLE AND SUMMARY
WHEREAS, the city council of the city of Medina has adopted Ordinance No. 510 which
amends the official zoning map to rezone the property being subdivided as "The Enclave"; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes § 412.191, subdivision 4 allows publication by title and.
summary in the case of lengthy ordinances or those containing charts or maps; and
WHEREAS, the ordinance is three pages in length and contains a map; and
WHEREAS, the city council believes that the following summary would clearly inform the
public of the intent and effect of the ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina that
the city administrator -clerk shall cause the following summary of Ordinance No. 510 to be
published in the official newspaper in lieu of the ordinance in its entirety:
Public Notice
The city council of the city of Medina has adopted Ordinance No. 510, rezoning the
property which is proposed to be subdivided as "The Fields of Medina" residential development,
located north of Highway 55 and west of County Road 116. The ordinance rezones the property
being developed with single-family homes to the R2 (Two -Family Residential) zoning district and
the western six acres of the site to the PS (Public/Semi-Public) zoning district in order to
accommodate future City park uses.
The full text and map exhibits of Ordinance No. 510 are available from the city administrator -clerk
at Medina city hall during regular business hours.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina that the city
administrator -clerk keep a copy of the ordinance in his office at city hall for public inspection and
that he post a full copy of the ordinance in a public place within the city.

and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Crosby, Martinson, Pederson, Siitari, Weir
And the following voted against same:
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
