ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING SECTION
19-401,(STREETS AND HIGHWAYS),SCHEDULE(R),(RESERVED PARKING AREAS),
SUBPARAGRAPH (A)(2), OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, BY THE
ADDITION OF A PORTION OF MONROE STREET.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 19-401, (Streets and Highways), Schedule R (Reserved
Parking Areas), Subparagraph (a)(2), of the Code of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, is
hereby amended by the addition of a portion of Monroe Street, to read as follows:
(2)COUNTY JAIL
Monroe Street: on the cost half thereof,south and within forty feet of the south line of Commercial
Avenue;
• Avenue, and on the west hair thereof, the first marked space south of Commercial Way;
provided,that the County Sheriff and his deputies,while engaged in the performance of their duties
may park a vehicle within such area.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of Its passage and approval.
