A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNH'OOD DECLARING ITS INTENT30N TO ORDER STREET'
LIGHTING BERVICE OId CERTAIN uTREETS IN THE CITY
OF LYN�:VOOD FOR A PERIOD BEGINNIIQG JULY 1, 1946,
AND EA�DING JUNE 30, 1947.
Be it resolved by the City Council of the Clty of
Lynwood as follows:
5ection 1 : That the public int=rest and convenience
require�and it Ss the intention of the City Council of the City
of Lynwood to order the furnishing of, for a period commencing
July 1, 1946, and ending June 30, 1947, the service necessary to
maintain and illuminate by meana oY electrical energy the suspended
electric street lamps of 250 and 600 c»ndle power and 250 candle
power lsmps on ornamental standards in certain streeta in the
City of Lynwood within the district described in Section 2 hereof
and to be known as Lighting Maintenance District No. 14 of the
I City of Lynwood, in accordance with plans and specifications there-
for, to be prepared, furnished and filed with the City Clerk of
the City of Lynwood as hereinafter provided.
' Sec 2 : That the exterior boundaries of the district
to be benefited by said improvement and to be asseased to pay
the costs and expenses thereof and to be known as the assessment
dietrict, as described as followa:
Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 7, Block 2,
Tract 5418 as per Book 59, pa�e 42 of Maps, Records of Los Angeles
County; thence_southerly along the easterly line of said Tract 541E
and following the s�.me in all its various courses to the southeast
corner of Lot 7, Rlock 14 of said Tract; thence easterly in a direct
line to the southeast corner of Lot 79 of Tract No. 92 as per Book
14, pagea 38 and 39 of n4aps, P.ecorda of said_ County; thence northerly
in a direct line to the northeast line of Lot 78 of said Tract No.
92; thence easterly in a direct line to the southeast corner of Lot
8 of Albert Villa Tract as per Book 9, Page 83 of Maps, Recorda of
• said County; thence northerly in re direct line to a point of inter-
section of the northerly boundar�� line of the City of Lynwood as
eaid boundary line existed June 30, 1941; thence easterly along

5222 as per Book 58, Page 21 of NIaps, Records of said County,
said last mentioned polnt being on the �esterly boundary 11ne of the
City of Lynwood as said boundary line exiated June 30, 194�; thence
northerly along said boundary line and follo�;ing the same in all
its various courses.to the Northeast corner of Lot 2753 of Tract
5975 as per Book �6, Pa.gea 22 and 23, of Maps, Records of eaid
County, said last mentioned point being on the Northerly boundary
line of the Gity of Lyn�ro�d. as said boundary line existed June 30,
1941; thence southerly to in a direct line throu�h the southeast

thence along the southerly lihe oP Abbott Road to its intersection
of the easLerly line of San Luis Avenue, eaid line being the weat-

other public places and for the lighting thereof by electric current,
gas or other illuminating agent; and for the asseasment of the costs
and expensea thereof upon the property benefited and the manner oY
collecting such assessments'� com�only known as the "Street Li�hting
Act'of 1919" and amendmenta thereto approved May 16, 1919.
