RESOLUTION ANIENDING RESOLUTION 08 -238 PROVIDING FOR THE
PREPARATION OF THE SANITARY SEWER MASTER PLAN
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret has previously adopted Resolution No. 08 -238
authorizing Hatch Mott MacDonald to prepare a Sanitary Sewer Master Plan to include
Phases I and H thereof; and
WHEREAS, the Borough's is desirous of completing Phase III of the Sanitary Sewer
Master Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available
for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. That Resolution No. 08 -238 authorizing Hatch Mott MacDonald to prepare a
Sanitary Sewer Master Plan is hereby amended to further authorize the
preparation of Phase IB of said plan at an additional cost not to exceed
$20,200 therefore, in accordance with Hatch Mott's previously submitted
professional engineering proposal for the preparation of the Sanitary Sewer
Master Plan.
2. That this action is approved as an award of a professional services contract
pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11- 5(1)(a) in accordance with the Borough's Fair
and Open Process as authorized by law.
3. That a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Borough's Purchasing
Department and hatch Mott MacDonald.
