A R�SOLU4'ION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

UR�R AS THE ADi�2INISTRATIVE OFFICER OF THE CITY .
OF LYN'�JOOD FOR THE STATE FMPLOYEES RE`I'IRIIVIL;NT
SYSTII�;I AND FIXING SALARY FOR SAIviE.
1'�'����, the State of CaLifornia under Chapter 700, Statutes I
of 1931, established The State �7nployees� Retirement System for
employees of the State of California and of such cities, school
districts, and counties a.s may elect to include their empl
pursuant to contract with the Boa.rd of Administration of such sys—
tera, and making an appropriation therefore; and
VlfiEREAS, the City of Lyn�nood, hereinafter desi�nated as
the '�Contracting City�� must furniah monthly reports to the Board
of p.dministration of said Retirement System showing changes in the
status during the preceding month of any and all membera who have
been included urider the retirement system by the City, and shall
furnish such additional information concerning any or all of such
members as the Boa.rd may require in the administration of the
retirement system and further, shall furnish such services of ita
cffices and departments as the Board may request in connection
with claims by said.members against the syatem; and
4`�HEREAS, the chief administrative officer of a contracting
city, or such other peraon as the legislative body of the City
may designate must furnish said Board of Administration with said
monthly reports herei�n mentioned;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Treasurer of
the Contracting City be and he is hereby designated as the a.drnin—
istrative officer of the City of Lynwood for the State Ehnployees�
Retirement System,
BE IT FURTHER RE50LVED, that the City Gouncil of the City
of L'ymvood, California, shall �fix the salary of said Administrative
�.- • _ ' -
Officer as trey see fit,
