WHEREAS, it is deemed a neeessity for the City of Lynwood
to have a bud�et as a guide to fiscal policies of obtaining revenues
and expending revenues for publie services, and
���HEAS, the budget will act as a guide in determining the
amount of appropriation to be made available for each public service
function, and
::'f�REAS, the budget gives the detailed analysis oP both
revenue.: receipts and classification of expenditures.
TI�REFOI�, be it resolved that the City Council adopt the
1946-47 budget as prepared and amended, and appropriate the following
amounts £or eaeh fund: '

° • Street 2Jlaintenance - � � �
• Fund 60, 500,�
�,Uater Fund 167;254
Street Lighting Fund 43,460.
BE IT Ft7RTF3ER RESOLVED that the total amounts for eaah
department as shown in the official budget shall serve as the appropria-
tion for each department and that any additional expenditure above
this designated amount must first be presented to the City Council for
approval by the City �+ianager before such additional expenditure can
be permitted.
