RESOLUTION OF INTENTION
. ?`� ��5, the City Council of the City of Lynwood, County
of Los An�eles, State of California, purauant to the Streets and
Highways Code, Division 4, Cited as '�Special As�essment Investigation,
Linitation and Nta,jority Protest Act of 1931," and after hearing there-
on has made its findings and determination, covering the proposed
construction of sanitary sewers and appurtenances in tlie streets and
" alleys included in the district hereinafter described, and said City
Council has determined that tne pro,�ect is feasible and the public
interest, convenience and necesaity require the improvement substan-
tially as set forth in said report and, �
!'�`���5, the City Counci� has found. that the lands to be
assessed vaill be able to stand the burden of the proposed assessment,
NOt'J, THEHEFORE, SE IT 1;ESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lymvood, Galifornia, as follows: .
Section 1: That in the opinion of the City Council of the
City of Lynwood the public interest a.nd convenience require and it is
the intention of said City Council to order the follovaing work, or
improve;nent, to be done to-�vit:
The construction of sanitary sewers and a,ppurtenance in
the stireets and alle,ys in the City of Lynwood, County of Los Angelea

State of CaliPornia, described as follows:
`Phat portion of Licensed Surveyor Tract, Book 16,
Page 3r, Records of Los Angeles County, lying be-
tvaeen Century Boulevard on the South and Imperial
Highway on the North; Bullis Road on the East and
Stockwell Drive on the �'Jest, exclusive of Lots
Idumbers 4 to 26 inclusive and Lots Numbers 58, 65,
115, 128, 129, 168 and 169.
_ That the cost of such work, or improvement, it is estimated
will not exceed the sum of Nineteen Thousand and No/Cne-hundredths
Dollars (�19,000.00).
That al]. the vrork and improvement aforesa.id sha.11 be done
and performed as ahown on and in accordance with and to the grades
shown on the plans, profilee and specifications numbered 1946C therefor
filed in the office of the City Clerk in the City Hall of said City
of Lyr_�vood, Said plans zre hereby referred to for a full and detailed
description of said propo�ed v�ork and for the grade to �chich the
vaork is to be done and are ;nade a part hereof.
�ction 2: That, pursuant to the provisions of the Streets
and Hightivays Code Division 7, referred to as °Improvement Act of
1911,° a� amended, the City Council of the•City of Lynwood proposes
to do the above vaork, or improvement, by contract; no contribution
of either labor or ma.terial will be made b,y the City of Lynrvood, and
the entire cost of said improvement is to be paid by special assess-
ments upon bene�ited property.
Section 3: All of the work, or improvement aforesaid,
described 5.n Section 1 hereof shall be done in accordance ��rith and
to the grade shown on Pla.ns and specifications No. 1946C for the
improvement of the aforesaid streets, avenues, a.l.leys and intersections.

Said plans and specifications are hereby referred to for
� a full detailed description of said propoeed work., or improvement and
for the description of the grade to which the work is to be d_one
and are made a part hereof.
Section 4: The vaork, or improvement, for the furnishin�
and d.eliver,y 'a,y the ConY,ractor of all labor, materials and supp� ies,
shall be furnished a.nd delivered in accordance with Plans and. Speci-
� fications i�1o. 1946C for the furnishin� a.nd delivering materials in
' conneetion :^rith the construction of said sa.nita.ry seu�ers and a��pur-
. tenances on fiI'e in the office of the City Clerk of the Cit� of
Lynwood, California; said Plans and Specifications are hereby re?erred
to for fur�her particulars and are made a part liereof.
, �ction 5: Said contemplated worY., or improvement, in the
•'�opinion of the City Council is of more than local or ordina.ry public
benefit, a.nc1 the City Council hereby determines and declare� tNat .
the district to be benefited by said v;ork, or improvement, and to be
assessed to pa.y the costs and er.z�enses of furnishing all the mal�erials
and supplies necessary to do the above u�ork, or improvement, is the
district described in Section 1 of this Resolution and as outlined.

. 5ection 8: That it is determined that no part of tiie cost
of said improvement is to be paid by the City of Lymqood. The entire
cost of labcr, materials and supplies is to be paid by special assess-
' ments upon benefited property, and all the la.bo:, materials and siapplies,
the cost of v;hich is to be paid by said specia.l assessments upon bene-
fited px�operty, and which vaill be furnished and delivered b,y tne con-
tractor in accord2nce,with sa_id Plans and 8pecification No. 19�6C on,

file in the office of the City Clerk of th.e Citq of Lynwood. Reference
is hereby made to said specifica_tions for a. full and complete descrio-
tion and sa.ia specificat�ons sha11 govern for a11 details.
,�gction 7: The City Council hereby determines and declares
that serial � nds shall be issued in the manner and form provided in
Stree�s and. Highways Code Division 7 cited as °Improvement Act of
1911,° as.amended, bearing interest at tne rate of six per centum
per annurn to represent each aesessment of TtiFrenty-five Dollars (',��
or over, remaining unpaicl for thirty daye after tYie date of the
warrani:. Said serial bonds shall extend over a period endin` nine
, years f'rorn the secon3 day of Jwnuary next succeeding the next �vcceed-
ing 0etober fifteenth following their date. Said bbnds a.nd 'interest,
, thereon shall be paid at the Office of the Cit,y Treasurer and,the
same sha.11 be disbursed by him, all as provided in the Streets and
� Highv�ays Code Division 7, cited as °Inprovement act of 1911°, as

Section 8: Notice is hereby given that the provisions of
that certain Act of the Legislature of the State of.California des-
ignated as the Streets and Hig�hvaays Code Division 4, cited as °.Specia.l
Asseusi�ent Investigation Limitation and I��IaJority Protest Act of ]_931,"
as amended. have heretofore been fully conplied with and all the
reports required under the provisions of said Act.are pn file in the
Office of the City Clerk of the said City of L,ynwood, oper. to,puUlic
inspection, and may there t�e exam5.ned_ by alI interested person5,
_ Section 9: The proceedin�s for the aforesaid proposed �aork,
o,r improvernent, shall be taken under an Act of Legisl;ature of the
Sta.te oi' Califcrnia designated as the Streets and High��aays Code
Division 7 cited as "Improvement Act of 1911,° and amend.ments tnereto.

Council Chamber in the City Hall, 11331 Plaza Street, in tne City of
Lynwood, California, any and all persone having any objections or
protests to said proposed !��ork or imgrovement, or'to the exter.t of
. the district to�be assessed, or the grades to sahich the �a�ork. is pro--
posed tc be done, ma.y appear before said City Council a:.nd show cause
v�hy said proposed work, or improvement, snould not be carried out in
accorclance r�itn this Resolution,
Section 13: The City CTerk Uhall certify to the passage of
�this Resol.ution by the City Council of the City of Lyrna�ood and cause
the same to be published t�vice in the Lynivood Presa, a wee2.Iy nec�spa,ner
puolis�ied and circulated in said_ City ancl hereby desig�nated 'oy said. ..
City CoL�nc for the purpose aforesaid, Said Clerk is also directed
to mail notices of the adoption of thia Resolution of Intention in the
time, form and manner, and to the persons, all as provided by said
