WITH PLANS AND SPECIFICATIOIQS.NO. 1946B.. ,
Be it resolved by the Ci*y Council of.the City of Lynwood,
California, as Yollo�vst ,
INHEREAS, pursuant to an Act of the Legislature of the State
of.California, approved April 2 4, 1937, and known as the "Labor Code,'�
the City Council oP the.Citp of Lynwood is required to ascertain
the general prevailing rate of per diem wages an� the g�eneral pre-
vailing rate of per diem rvages and the general prevailing rate of
per diem vrag�es for legal holidays and overtime iaork, in this local3ty,
for each craft or type of laborer, workman or mechanic needed to
execute Yhe contract for furnishing and deliverin� certain materia.ls
and supplies in connection with the improvement of, that propertj� by
the conatruction of curbe, gutters'and sidewalks in the streets �nd
alleys in the City of Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, State of Calif-
ornia, described as follows:
All of that Tract 12600, as recorded in Book 241,
Page 34 of Records of Los Angeles County and
bounded by Imperial High�ray on the North, Bullis
'. Road on the West, and the Lugo Home Tract on the
South and East; comprising all dedic�,ted streets
within said Tract, namely, Sue, Lyndora, Hulme,
Eve, Ira, Lillta and the East side of Bullis Road,
all as described in n�iap 19465 on file in tne office
of the City Clerk of said City,
in accordance �^rith Plans and Specificationa No. 1945B on file in the

N04V,.THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of L.yn��ood
does hereby resolve as folloc�s:

' hereby ascertain and determine that the gener�l. prevailing rate of
per 3iem Urages, in the'locality in which said vaork, or improvement,
is to be done; for each craft or type of laborer, workmaii or mecnanic
needed to'execute the contract for furnishing and deliverina certain
materials a.nd supplies in connection with.the iMprovement of that
property herein above described'in Pro,�ect No. 1946B, in accord�nce
Mith P1anG and Specificat_ons No. 19468, on file in the oPfice of

Section 3. The generel prevailing rAte of per diem wages
provided herein is l�sed upon a working day of eight (8) hours:,. ar.d
in the event laborers, workmen or mechanics are employed leas T,han
eight (8) hours per day, the per diem wagea for such employment
shall be deemed to be that fraction of said rete that the number of
hours of employment bears to eight {8) day�.
