RESOLUTION ORDERING A PART OF STOCKWELL DRIVE �
' VACATED AND ABANDONED. �
The City Council of the Incorporated City of Lynwood,
hereby resolvea as followa:
Section 1 : That, at the hour of 8:00 P. M. o'cloc, upon
� the 6th day of Aug�ast� 1946, the City of the said City of
Lynwood, held a hearing in the Council Chambera of the City'Council
- of aaid City, upon the resolution and ordinance of intention No.
1976 wherein the said City Council did declare ita intention of
vacating and 'abandoning a part of Stockwell Drive, located in said
City
5ection_2 That at said hearing� and examination of the
record, this City Council Pound that a copy of said resolution and
ordinance of intention, No. 1976 had been duly publiahed as by law
required. That a notice of said reaolution and ordinance had been
-, duly published and poated as bp law required.
8ection 3 : This City Council further finda Chat no peraon
, - appeared or ob,�ected, either by. letter or other written communication
to the va�ating an3 abandoning part oP Stockwell Drive, ae proposed
in said resolution and ordinanee.
Section 4 ; Thia City Council further Pinds that that part
of Stockv�Jell Drive in said City of Lynwood, and lying and beirig
southerly of Century Boulevard is unnecessary for present or proa-
pective public street purposes and that the public interest and
necessity and convenience require this City Council to.vscate and
abandon said part of Stockwell Drive.
Section 5 : NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City
Council of the said City oY Lyneuood, California hereby order tnat
that part oY 8tockwell Drive lying� southerly oP the aoutherly
boundary of the ri�ht-of-way of Century Boulevard, said portion

of aforementioned street being the weaterly 22.96 feet oP Lots
- 171, 172, 173, 174, 175, 176, 177, and 178 of the Licenaed Surveyor's
Map as per book 16, page 37 of Recorda of Loa Angelea County dedicated
for public purpoaes, and which le ahown on Sheet 6 of the Official
_. Map of the City of Lynwood and to which all persona are hereby
referred., be, and the same hereby ia vacated and abandoned.
Section 6: It is Purther reaolved, that the City Clerk
of the said City of Lynwood, ahall cause a certified copy of this
order to be recorded in the office of the Countq Recorder, Los
Angelea County, California.
