A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNPlOOD, CALIFORNIA, OBJECTING
TO THE St�LE BY THE COUNTY, PURSUANT T0
DIVISIONS 1,: PART g, CHAPTER �, OF THE ,
REVENUE AND TAXATION CODE, OF CERTAIN • '
PROPERTIES SITUATED l�'ITHIN THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD, AND AGAINST tF+HICH THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD HAS LEVIED TAXES.
WHEREAS, the-following deacribed parcels of real
, property are situated within the City of Lynwood, nsmely:

4VHEP,EAS, each of, said parcels of said property has
heretofcire been deeded to the State of Callfornia Por delinquent
taxes; and ea,ch such deed to the State for taxes levied by the
City of Lynwood, the taxed of which City are collected by
County OfYicers; and
IVHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has been notified by the
�. Coun'ty'�Tax Collector of Los AngelesCounty that he was authorized -
by the Board of Supervisors of Los Angeles County to sell each of
said pareels of property in accordance with Division l, Part 6,
Chapter 7 of the Revenue and Taxatlon Code; and
4YHEREA5, it is to the best interests of the County of
Los Angeles and the City of Lynwood, that said properties be
withheld from public auction eale by the County of Los An�eles
and be sold by said County to the City;y- of Lynwood; and
WHEREAB, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and direeted to execute on behalf of the City of Lynwood and
agreement with the County of Los Angeles for immediate cash I
purchase of said properties at a price not lesa than the minimum
bid Yor which the propertiea are to be.offered at public auction;
f NOti9, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Lyhuvood does resolve and determine as follotivs:
That the Gity of Lynwood, a taxing agency, doea hereby
. ob,j�ct to the sale of each and aIl of the said above deseribad parcels
of real property by the County Tax Collector of L os Angeles County,
in accordance with Division 1, Part 6, Chapter 7 of the Revenue a.nd
Taxation Code.
That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and instructed
to immediately Yorward a certified copy of this resolution to the
Board of Supervisors of the County of Loa Angelea, Hall of Records,
I,os Angeles, California, and to H.L . Byram, County Tax Collector,
Rpom 156, Hall of Justice, I,os An�eles, California.
