. vuI�R�AS, the County of 7�os Angeles has allocated to the City of
I,ynwood a suin estimated at Fourteen Thousand and no/looths Dollars
(�14,000.00) as I,ynwood's proportionate ehare of gasoline tax alloca-
tion £or improvements to the streets within the City of Zynwood; and
a'uIiLREAS, a^1en Thousand and no/100 Dollars (�10,000.00) exces�
cash balance was carried over from the fiecal year 1945-46 thereby
giving a tcta.l amount available estimated at Twenty-Four Thousand
` and no/100 Dollars (�24,000.00) for`street improvement; and
VyT�EREA,S, a survey of al], the street's" within the City of I,ynwood
has been r�ade a.s to their surface condition and as to the completed
installation of water mains under said streets, such factors bein� used
as a basis to determine which streets should have priority for resurfac-
ing; and ,
�'�k�1S,'ia.n effort has been made to distribute these street improve-
ments over each area of the City; and �.
W�ItF�1.5, the cost of labor for resurfacing has been included in
the budget therefore the cost of material only will be applied to the
sum set forth .in this resolution; ��.� ,

1946-?7 out of the resources of the street fund:
