',"rHEREAS, �acific Lighting Corporation, a California
corporation, has for several years last past been the ovmer and
= holder of that certain franchise granted by the City of Lymf�ood
under;Ordinance No. 175, passed, adopted and approved on the 4th .
, day of August, 1931, and
ti;iHEREAS, sa.id Pacific Lighting Corporation did on or about
June 4, 1946, assign and-transfer to said Southern California Gas
Company and said Southern Counties Ga.e Company of California., as
�, tenants in common with a three-fourth (3/4) interest in said
Southern Dalifornia Gas Company, its successors or assigns, and a .

one-fourth (1/�) interest in Soiathern Counties Gas Company of Calif-
ornia, its successors or assigns, all rights of said Pacific Lir�hting -
� Corporation in and to said franchise granted pursizant to Ordinance
No. 175 as aforesaid, and
i`^��HEREAS, said Southern California�Gas Company and said
,, Southern Counties Gas Company of California are now the o4�mers a.nd
holders of said franchise as tenants in common as aforesaid, and
P:?iEREAS, said Pacific Lighting Corporation under &ate of
July 5, 1939, filed with the City of Lynwood its franchisa bond in
the'penal sum of One Thousand (�1,000.00) Dollars with Associated
_ Indemnity Corporation as surety, and

_ Southern Counties Gas Company of California did on the 20th day
o� Seotembg.r , 1946, file their bond in the penal sum of One
, Thousa.nd (151,000.00) Doll�.ra with Pacific Indemnity Company, a
California corporation, as surety,

BE IT RESOLVED that said bond filed on the 5th day of
Ju1y� 1939� by Pacific Lig'nting Corporation and Associated 'Indemnity
Corporation as surety be ca.ncelled`and the principal and surety

accruing�thereon subsequent to the date hereof.
AND FURTHER BE IT RESOLti�ED THAfi said franchise bond of
