HomeMy Public PortalAbout2006 (10-15-46) RESOLUTION N0. 2006. • RESOLUTION ADOPTING SCALE OF PREVAILING WAGES, � ETC., IN CONNECTION WITH THE I�PROVIIvIENT OF LONG BEACH BOULEVARD BY THE INSTALLATION OF A TRAFFIC SIG�AL SYSTEDH. } WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisiona of Sections 1770 to I707 incluaive, oP the Labor Code oP the State of California, the City Council.of the City bf Lynwood is required to ascertain the general prevailin� rate of per diem wages for legal holidays and : overtime work in this locality, for each craft or type of laborer, workman or mechanic needed to execute the contract for the inatal- lation oF a syatem of traffic signale on Long Beach Boulevard in the City of Lynwood as shown on PTans and Speclfications No. 46- . 1-S on fi3� in.the o�fice of ths �ity Clerk of said City, _ NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby reaolve as follows: � It is hereby ascertained that the general prevailing , rate of per diem wa�es, and the general prenailing rate for Sat- urday, �unde.y, legal holidays and overtime work, for each craft or type of workmen needed to execute the propoaed contract, is as _ Pollov�e,. to-wit: _ FOFtEMEN, all F'oremen not herein separately cslassiPied ' ahall be paid not less than �1.00 per day more than the,,�ourneyman rate for the craft involved. �APPRENTICES, may be employed in conformity with Section , 1777.5 oP the California Labor Code.
