, Z'HE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DO RESOLVE AS
FOLLOPJS:
WHEREAS, COUNTY SANITATION DI5T. N0. 1 of Los Angeles
County, of which this City is a.part, acting ,�ointly with other
Sanitation Diatricts, has heretofore constructed and now maintaina
�
and o�eratea a system of trunk sewers and disposal worka for the
` disposal of sewage originating within said Diatrict, and
WHEF2EAS, under the °Construction and Dnployment Act,u
(Chapter 20, Statutee of California, 56th Sesaion; Firat Extra-
� ordinary) p�avision is made for the allocation and payment by the_ -

WHEREAS,. the amount to be allocated to the City of
Lyn�vood under the'provisions of sa.id Act ie �102,925.28 and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest and for the mutual
, benefit-of the City of LYNW00D and said COUNTY SANITATION DIST. N0. 1

of Los Angeles County that a portion of the money or to �
be allocated to said City under said Act be used and expended on behalf
' of said.City of COUNTY SANITATION DIST, N0. 2 oP,Los Angeles County
for the construction oY trunk aewera, aewage treatment plants and
outfall s8wers for the disposal of sewage originating �vithin said

NOW THEREFORE� IT IS HEHEBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWSt
- (1) That the City of LYNWOOD doee hereby assign COUNTY
SANITATION DIST. N0. 2 op �g Angeles County the_sum of �3,900
oP the amount of money allocated to said City pursuant to the
aforesaid Act, for use by said assignee COUNTY SANITATION DIST. N0. 2
of Los Angeles County, acting on behalf of said City of LY1dW00D for
theconatruction of said trunk sewers, sewage treatment plants and
outfall sewers for the diaposal of aewage originating within eaid
District No. 1 and said COUNTY SANITATION DIST. N0. 2 of I,os An�elea
County is hereby authorized to prepare and p�eaent to the State of
California, the necessary pro�ect and application for allotment on
behalf of 'said City of LYNWOOD, aB required by the provisions of
said Act, particularly Sections 22 and ther@�of.
(2) The City Clerk is directed to transmit certified
copies of ,this resolution, upon passage, as follows: three to the
State Allocation Board, Sacramento, Califo and one to
COUNTY SANITATION DIST. N0. 2 of Los Angeles County, 330 Bendix
Building, 1206 Maple Avenue, Los Angelea 15, California.
