RESOLUTIODI OF INTENTION; BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORIQIA, DECLARING
ITS INTENTIQ:d TO VACATE AND ABANDUN THAT POR-
TION OF ALt�tA AN.ENUE HEREIA� DESCRIBED.
� The City Couneil of the City of Lynwood, California,
hereby resolves as follows:
8ection 1: That that portion of Alma Avenue lying between
the northerly prolongation of the westerly line of Ruth Street and
the northerly prolonga.tion of the easterly line of San Vincente
Avenue, within the corporate limits of the City of Lyn���ood, Calif-
ornia, is unnecessary for present or prospective public atreet pur- -
poae� and that the public interest and neceseity and convenience
require, and the City Council of said City hereby declares its inten-
tion to.vacate and abandon thr�t portion of said atreet.
° Section 2: That said portion of Alma Avenue as Above dea-
cribea� lying and being in said Gity of Lynwood is shown on map rro. 400
'° � f31e'in office of the Clerk of said City to which all parties
interested are referred for particulars as to the proposed vacation
. and abandonment.
" 3ection 3: That the City of�Lynwood hereby reserves an
- easement over said portion of Alma Avenue as described above for
the purpose of operating; constructin�, and�or maintaining public
utilities therein.
. Section 4: That the City Council hereby elects to proceed
in said vacation and abandonment under Sections 8300 to 8324, inclusive,
of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, as amended.
- Section 5: TYi�t Tuesday, the 3rd day of December, 1946,
' at the hour of 5:00 o'clock P. M., in the Council Chambers of the
City Hall in said cit,y is hereby fixed as the time and place for
hearing any protests or ob�ections to the proposed vacation or aban-
, donment oY said Alma Avenue.

directed to publish and post notice of the passage of this
- resolution in the time, form, and manner required by lavr.
