A RESOLUTIUN OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TNE CITY OF
LYNVJOOD APPOINTiNG THOI�AS W. LE SAGE, CITY
ATTORNEY AND FIXING THE S,aI,ARY FOR THE OFFICE
OF CITY ATTURNEY OF SAID CITY, AND PROVIDING
FOR THE COP��PENSATIUN FOR EXTRA EP.4PLOYMENT.
The City Council of the City of Lyndvood does. resolve
� aS f011OV��S:
SECTIUN 1: That effective as of Dlovember 15, 1946,
Thomas �Y. Le Saae, be and he is hereby appointed and employed as
City Attorney of the Citv of Lynwood,
SECTIORi 2; That said appointee shall as compen-
sation for his services as City Attorney the sum oP Two Thousand
Seven Hundred and No/100 Dollars (�2,700.00) per year, payable
� monthly; and it is understood_ that said services shnll incl'ude such
work as may be necessary as City Proaecutor of said City, and ahall
� include services to munioipal utilities; provided, however, that
for services rendered by the City Attorne;/ out�ide of the County of
Los P_ngeles, and for services rendered in the preparation of munici-
pal bond issues, and Por bond issues for municipally owned public
utili.ties and for services rendered in actions brought against or on
behalf of the City in the courts, and appearances and hearings before
administrative boards, other than those of the City of Lynv�ood., and
in heasings before any oP the commissions of the State of Cta.lifornia,
or for any proceedings initiate3 or ur�dertaker. under public improve-
ment acts, the City Attorne,/ shall be paid, in addition�to the fore—
going salar�, sucri compensation as shall be commensurate with the
services rendered. However, before such aclditional compensation is
paid an agreement as to amount shall be determined.before any additional
work enumerated above is undertaken,
SECTION 3: That said appointee further agrees to devote
at least one full businees day each week to Cit,y business as the

the occasion warrants.
SECTIOid 4: That the said compensation shall be applied
and be in effect from and after the 15th day of November, 1946.
SECTIOIJ 5: That the City Clerk_ shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the
sane shall be in full force and effect. �
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 12th day of IQovember, 1946.
