RESOLUTION N0. 2013
RESOLUTIOIQ ORDERING A PART OF ALR?A AVENUE VACATED
AND ABANDONED.
The City Council of the Incorporated City of Lynwood,
hereby resolves as follot.va:
� Section 1: That, at the hour of 8:00 P, n�, orlock, upon
the 3rd day of December, 1946, the City Council of the said City of
Lynwood, held a hearing in the Council Chambers of the City Council
of said City, upon the resolution of intention No. 2011 wherein the
said City Council did declare its intention of vacating and aband.on-
ir� � part of Alma Avenue, located in said City.
Section 2: That at said hearing and examination of the •
record, this City Council £ound that a copy of said resolution of
intention, No. 2011, had been duly publiehed as by law required.; that

a notice of said resolution had been duly published and posted as by
law required. '
gection 3: This City Council. further finds that no person
- appeared or ob�ected, either by letter or other written communication
to the vacating and abandoning part of Alma Avenue, as propo�ed in
said resolution.
Section 4: This City Council further finds that that
portion of Alma Avenue lying between the northerly prolongation of
the wester].y line of Ruth Street and the nor therly prolongation of
the easterly ling of San Vincente Avenue, within the corporate limits
of the CiYy of Lynwood, California, is unnecessary for present or
proepective public street purposes and that the public interest and
neceasity and convenience require, and the City Council of said Cjty
hereby declares its intention to vacate'and abandon that portion
of said street.

Sectian 5: NOtJ, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City
Council of the said City of Lynwooc�, California hereby order th2t
that part of Alma Avenue as herein described, dedicated for pub_lic
purposes, and which is shown on Map Aro. 400 on file in the office of the
City Clerk of said City, and to vahich all persons are hereby referred,
be, and the same hereby is vacated and abandoned.
Section 6: It is further reaolved that the City of Lynwood
hereby reserves an easement through, over, and upon eaid portion
of Alma Avenue as describ�d aeove for the purpose of operating, con-
structing, and/or maintaining public utilities therein.
Section 7: It is further resolved that the City Clerk of
the said City of Lyn�vood, shall cause � certified copy oP this order
to be recorded in the office of the Count,y Recorder, Los An�eles '
County, California.

of the City Council of the City of Lynwood, California, on this
3rd day of December, 1946.
