RESOLUTION NO. CRA 98 -666
A RESOLUTION OF THE TEMPLE CITY COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY CERTIFYING THAT THE FIVE YEAR IMPLEMENTATION PLAN
HAS BEEN REVIEWED.
THE TEMPLE CITY COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the City Council of Temple City has previously adopted a Redevelopment Plan for the
Rosemead Boulevard Redevelopment Project, (The "Redevelopment Project "); and
WHEREAS, the Temple City Community Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency ") is carrying out the
redevelopment of the Redevelopment Project; and
WHEREAS, the California State Legislature in 1993 enacted Assembly Bill No. 1290 requiring every
legislative body having jurisdiction of a redevelopment agency formed pursuant to the California Community
Redevelopment Law to adopt no later than December 31, 1994, an Implementation Plan for the redevelopment
project applicable to such agencies; and
WHEREAS, the Agency adopted a Five Year Implementation Plan on December 20, 1994; and
WHEREAS, the State of California Health and Safety Code requires a review of said Five Year
Implementation Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Temple City Community Redevelopment Agency that the
Agency has reviewed the adopted Five Year Implementation Plan and fmds that programs outlined in said Plan
have been implemented to the extent feasible. The adopted Five Year Implementation Plan continues to have
relevance for the Agency and ongoing efforts will be undertaken to implement provisions of the plan. Specifically,
$340,660 has been expended toward improving housing within the Community and an additional $422,785 is
available for additional housing programs to be funded by the Agency's 20% Set Aside Funds.
SECTION 1. The Agency hereby certifies the review of the adopted Five Year Implementation Plan.
SECTION 2. The Secretary shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter it into
the book of original resolutions.
