RESOLUTIUN SETTING rOR'PI-I FACTS OF HEARIPIG, OVER-
RULING PROTPSTS F.D?D CONFIRIt4IPIs ASSESSiiQENT.
P1HEF.EAS, under the provieions of Division 7 of the Streets
and Nigh�vays Code, cited as the Improvement Act of 1.911, and amend-
ments thereto, the CiL'y Council of the City of Lynivood adopted its
Resolution of Intention T�Io, 1916 on the' 19th day of n4arch, 1946,
.declaring its intentior. to order certain caork to be done. Reference
is hereby made to said Resolution of Intention for a description of
the work or improvement, the �,ssessment district, and for further
�pa.rticulars, which resoluticn is on file in the office of�the City
Clerk of s2id City; and
t9HEREAS, the proceedings pursuant to said Resolution of
Intention have been had and taken in the t,ime, for.m and manner
required by lavr; and
4�HEREA5, a notice of he�ring on the proposed,assessment has
been published, posted �nd. mailed as required by la�v; ard
�llHFREAS, a full and complete hearing on said aesessment
tvas held on the 3rd d�.y of Decemoer 1945; and
'PIHER�S, the folloin�ing• made oral ob,jections -- L. H. Baher,
3917 Louise Street, K. P. Ba�er, 3911 Louise Street, E. C.. Sheiming,
11610 Dtichols; t"�. A, Lovell, 11620 Pdichols, wnicl pretests �nd
objections were duly considered by sa,id City Courcil; and
�'JHEREAS, the Council of said City continued the hearin� to
�the hour of 8:00 P. b:i, on the 17th day o�' December, 1946; and,
4'lHEREAB, a full and complete hearing on said assessment vras
held on the 17th day of December, 1946; and
y"IHEREAS, the followino written protest was filed: Floyd A.
Smith, 11524 Aiichols, who complained o£ the amount of his assessment
as to the estimate and the follniving oral protest �vas made: Geo. E.

the City of.Lynr�ood as follows:
Section 1: That the assessment is ,just and correct a.nd in
accordance +�ith lat^r and that all ef the actions, determinations,
resolution, and ordera, and. all of the proceedin�s heretofor.e taken
are legal, valid and suff'icient and thut the diagram attached to
' said assessment is legal, valid and suYficient. .
Section 2: Tha.t all of said protests and ob3ections are
hereb,y overruled and said proceedings and said aesessmer.ts are•hereby
confirTM�ed and it is hereby ordered that the �varrant may �ae attached
thereto accordingly.
