He it reaolved by the City Council of the City of Lynerood,
as followa:
WHEREAS, it haa come to the attention of the City Council
of the City oP Lynwood, by evidence offered in that behalf, that
on certain lots of land in said City there exista dry and drying
weeds which dry and drying g�rass on such lots causes g�reat damages
to houaes and atructures in eaid Lynwood from fire and constitutea
a public �uisance, and that euch public nuisance should at once
be aba.ted under the provieions of an act of Legisla,ture of the
State of CaliPornia, aporoved Ma.y 26, 1915, Statutes 1915, Page
841, as said act Ss amended, which said act is entitled: °An act
authorizin� 1�[unicipalities to declare noxious or dangerous weeds
growing upon the atreeta or sidewalks or upon private propertq
. v�b thin Municipalitiea, to be a public nuieance, creating a lien
upon the property-fronting upon which such nuisance exista Por
the coat of abating the same,° which act was approved May 26, 1915.
