L-Liu�fl qA': Y. �9AIED MAP Orleans Police Station Building Committee Minutes Tom Finan,Chairman ENS Well,We Chairman Bill Stoecker%Clerk Dalefuller,Member Jeff Roy,Member Ron Collins,Associate April 26, 2017 Meeting Minutes Approved S/3//i 7- The 53rd meeting of the Orleans Police Station Building Committee was convened by Chairman Tom Finan on April 26, 2017 1:00PM in the Nauset Room of the Orleans Town Hall. Present were Chairman Tom Finan, Bill Stoeckert, Bill Weil, Dale Fuller, Jeff Roy, and Associate Member Ron Collins.Also present were Deputy Chief Sean Diamond and FinCom liaison Joe Cardito. Public Comment: There was no public comment Guests Mike Fortunato, Pomroy Associates-Project Management Todd Costa, KBA-Architect Approval of Minutes Upon motion of Dale Fuller, seconded by Jeff Roy, the March 29, 2017 minutes of the Police Station Building Committee were approved 5-0-0. piscussion-Mike Fortunato provided a proiect update on the following; 1. Steel erection began on March 20, 2017 and was complete on the 28t. Some steel remains and will be completed in conjunction with the CMU (Concrete Masonry Units)walls for the cells later this month. UTS and David Toce,the structural engineer of record has been on site and approved work completed to date. 2. Baskin builders installed the exterior wood walls and the steel contractor welded the wall clips along behind them to firm the wall placement 3. RAC completed the subsurface infiltration systems 1&2.These systems serve the roof drains, gutter downspouts and parking lot drains for the entire facility. Several catch basins; drain manholes and piping have been installed in conjunction with the system. 4. RAC installed the domestic water line from Eldredge Park Way into the water room and the copper water line from the main building to the auxiliary building. 5. Brite Light ran all of their through-wall conduits. Undergrond plumbing is complete in the interior main building and will be complete in auxiliary building next week. 6. Doorframes,windows and storefronts are in fabrication. 7. Roof trusses are complete and stored off site. Delivery by end of May. 8. Next few weeks schedule: • Under slab plumbing and trench drains in the auxiliary building. • Depressed slab will be poured tomorrow(April 27th),with the full slab for both buildings next week. In response to a question from Ron Collins, the Committee was advised that the schedule for the concrete pour for the slab calls for it to be completed by 7:00PM, and if necessary the neighbors would be advised of the timing. The material for the Selectmen Monthly Written Update was reviewed.
